Nokia E7, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc coming to Carphone Warehouse in April.

Carphone Warehouse have updated their coming soon page to indicate the arrival of two new high-end smartphones this coming April; the Sony Ericsson Xperia ARC and the Nokia E7. Two different handsets, but definitely high sellers in our opinion.

Pricing and exact availability is not known yet but the slim-line Xperia ARC is certain to appeal to previous Sony Ericsson Vivaz users alongside Android users who want a small thin very good looking phone, whilst the Nokia E7 is set to aggressively target the business market with it 4″ screen, 42 key slide-out hardware QWERTY keyboard and Microsoft Communicator Mobile.

Full spec lists of the Xperia ARC here and the E7 here.

The Xperia Arc is yet to begin shipping globally, so an April release date sounds correct (the Xperia Play will be coming to the UK then as well), whilst the E7 has just begun shipping.

We’d expect to see the Xperia Arc go free at around £40/month on a 18/24 month contract, with the user having to pay a fee for the phone on plans less than that price. As for the E7, given the past pricing of the previous communicator the E90, we’d be surprised it if was available for free on plans less than £45-£50/month.

Will you be buying any of these two? Or does the Xperia Play interest you? Let us know in the comments!
