Google Benchmark shows 7” Jelly Bean tablet with 1.3GHz Quad-Core

The following Image shows a Benchmark test from a Tablet with the codename “Grouper”

This is the moment a lot of us have been waiting for: it seems that Google and Asus will release the first “Nexus-Tablet”.

What we can see is that the Tablet will be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Quad-core CPU with 1.3Ghz and it will get the Nvidie ULP GPU. Screen size is estimated to be 7” with a WXGA-Resolution (1280*768 and an aspect ratio of 5:3)

But there is more ! The guys from Android Police dug a little bit deeper and found a bit more information that show us that the device will get the sdk version 4.1 which will be Android “Jelly Bean”.

I for one am looking forward to this device. This could become my first tablet. What are your thoughts – could the Nexus Tablet break through the barriers that surrounds the iPad and open a door to Apple’s first real competitor?
